Our cotton comes from two mills. Our main spinner in India treats all its dye water on site, so no wastewater leaves the factory, and it runs partly on its own hydro and solar power. It is also a member of Better Cotton which means it buys cotton through a programme that trains farmers to use less water and fewer pesticides, and to meet standards for decent work.
Our other supplier dyes its yarn in Poland under EU chemical and water rules, a short trip from where we knit.
